Speaking of donuts

After almost two weeks of low-carbness, we decided to take a night off last night.  What does that mean for us?  Mexican food and donuts.  I'm slightly ashamed to type that, but there you have it.  We went to Jorge's, our favorite mexican food eatery.  I had chicken enchiladas and a swirl margarita - yum!!  I couldn't finish either of them.  Then for dessert, T&T donuts.  These are the best donuts (other than my mother's homemade) on the planet.

...that is a strange disclaimer  "the best donuts (other than my mother's homemade) on the planet"...doesn't one disqualify the other...anywho...

I ate four donut holes and two donuts.  THEY. WERE. FANTASTIC.  With each bite I grew happier and happier, more and more satisfied with my evening of cheating.  Satisfaction quickly turned into a good ol' fashioned BELLY ACHE!  My stomach was churning at a rate only heard of in science fiction novels.  We went to bed and I laid there...churning...churning.  It didn't take long for my evening of cheating to go south.  I urped, as my grandmother would say.

Was the night of cheating worth it?  In one word, HECK TO THE NO!  I'm back on the wagon and don't plan on jumping off any time soon.  When I do decide to hop off at Cheaterville, I'm going to try to take it easy.  So much for donuts.
